Spring Trends - B&W

We're back with our spring trends reports and this time, to contrast the loud vibrant florals of the last post, we'll focus on the opposite - monochrome. You'd think that B&W is eternally in style (and it probably is!) but for this spring/summer, you definitely cannot go wrong with some black and white palettes.

The best part about this trend for spring is that you don't even have to work very hard to transition your dark (virtually all black, let's face it) winter wardrobe for the warmer weathers. Just add a couple of white, airy pieces and you're good to go! As seen on the runways, the classic black and white combinations range across all patterns, shapes and silhouettes - from b&w florals to the most minimalistic b&w combinations.

And lastly, if you're a fan of nail art, why not try incorporating this trends onto your nails? It's a more subtle way to wear the runway trends while making a definite statement at the same time. We love it when people get creative.

Spring Trends - Oriental

Fashion Week acaba de pasar volando y antes de que nos empecemos a preocupar por las colecciones de Fall/Winter 2013, vamos a comentar un poco la temporada de primavera! Sabemos que muchas de vosotras estáis contando los días por despertaros con solecito y lucir piernas pero no os preocupéis que ya podéis ir dándole ese toque de color a vuestros armarios (si desde donde nos lees ya te paseas en bikini, envidia nos das!) Esta primavera verano del 2013 va a pisar fuerte con sus estampados, y los que más estamos viendo son los estampados orientales.

So Fashion Week season has just swept us by, but before we start worrying about Fall/Winter 2013, let's have a closer look at what's coming for us this spring season. We're all dying to be able to show a bit more skin and bring back some color to our wardrobes, but let's not panic, warmer days are just around the corner (if they have already arrived to where you live, then lucky you!). Spring/Summer 2013 is going to be BIG on prints, so let's start with one of our favorites: oriental influenced.

No pienses que los estampados florales es algo predecible para la primavera, porque la verdad es que la fusión del estilo Occidental con la esencia de lo Oriental hace que esta tendencia sea todo lo creativa que quieras. Por otro lado, si no eres de las que se sienten afines con las flores, tranquila que hay todo tipo de estampado con el que podrás destacar..

"Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking." But not just any type of florals, the Eastern touch to these prints really add it something else, making them so much more fun to play with. If you're still not too big on flowers but like the idea of loud prints, there's also plenty of this...

Además, las influencias orientales no vienen solo en estampado. Asegúrate de añadir seda y prendas "kimono" a tu colección esta temporada...

And the Oriental influences aren't just found in prints. Be sure to find lots of silk and kimono silhouettes  all around this season.

Desde luego, sí que parecen prendas de lo más cómodas. Esperemos que estés tan emocionada como nosotras para el cambio de clima y darle una vuelta a tu armario.. ¿Qué opinas sobre esta tendencia?

Packaging Try Outs

Ya queda menos para que llegue el fin de semana, así que ánimo a los que se os esté haciendo difícil!

Nosotras no paramos ni un minuto ya que muchos nos estáis preguntado por la fecha definitiva y esperamos estar listas muy muy pronto!

Para ello estamos trabajando día y noche y aquí tenéis algunas fotos de las pruebas que estamos haciendo para el packaging.

 Queremos que el envoltorio sea tan original y especial como las joyas que llevarán dentro y sus futuras dueñas. Por ello, hemos estado probando todo tipo de telas, cuerdas, tamaños, diseños, estampados... Y creemos que de momento éstos son los que más nos gustan! ¿Qué opináis?

Os dejamos algunas fotos para que podáis echarle un vistazo. ¡De momento no descartamos nada!

And so, we have been trying out all kind of colors, cords, shapes and we won't stop until we create something perfect for you.

Minimalism - Sunday inspiration

Seguro que no somos las únicas que andamos enamoradas de ese estilo minimalista cuya simpleza nunca pasa de moda...

Ni desapercibida.

Pues aquí tenéis una dosis de frescura de domingo para paliar una larga semana y desearos un buen lunes!

Si lo que estás viendo te gusta, algo más tenemos en común. Engánchate a EXCENTRICCA y durante la semana te iremos mostrando más cositas que te estamos preparando. Algunas minimalistas y otras... Quizás no tanto.

Something about the minimalist trend is so chic and attractive that it's never going to go out of fashion (at least we hope not!). Here's a little dose of freshness for your well deserved Sunday after a long week.
